Job Summary
NOTE: This position is Hybrid, meaning working from home two days/week and working in Dallas office three days/week.
• This position is responsible for constructing forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
• Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
• May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
• Produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
• May perform research and assist in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies.
• Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
• Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
• Contributes to the development of functional strategy.
• Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
• Communicates and interacts effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
• Complies with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
• Maintains complete confidentiality of company business.
• Maintains communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and performs special projects as required or requested.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree AND 5 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 1 year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data OR at least 9 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 1 year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
- Ability to interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices
- Experience taking initiative to solve complex problems; takes an "outside -in" perspective to identify innovative solutions
- Able to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- Experience leading functional teams or projects
- Ability to translate complex, technical subjects into clear business-oriented communications
- Presentation and negotiation skills
- Acts with integrity and maintain a respectful, professional manner in all interactions with co-workers, management, customers and other business contacts
- Complies with HIPAA, the Code of Business Ethics & Conduct, our Diversity & Inclusion Principles, and other applicable corporate and departmental policies
- Maintains complete confidentiality in all matters of company business
- Maintains communication with management regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities, and performs special projects as required or requested
PREFERRED:
- Design and research experience/certifications
- Master's/Graduate Degree in Business, Innovation Management, etc.
- Entrepreneurial and venture management (via startups or industry exploration vehicles)
- Extensive implementation and/or project management experience
