Job Description
NOTICE- Any pay ranges displayed are estimations. Actual pay is determined by an applicant's experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications as listed in the job description. All qualified applicants are welcome to apply.
We really need someone who is solid on the BRD documentation but also able to lead these meetings with stakeholders and help them discover the requirements (the stakeholders sometimes struggle with this because they don’t always have product owners, or it’s some manager filling that role who knows like 90% of it). And they need to be able to lead the meetings with developers and get them to talk about the changes and discover all of the technical tasks. We have a lot of website changes coming, so experience with externally customer-facing websites is practically a must, or an understanding of them at least. The people who have internal Sharepoint site experience will not do, they don’t understand how the UX flow is impacted by changes and are uncomfortable leading those discussions with stakeholders and trying to map out the process or create quick wireframe in Visio/Powerpoint/Miro/whatever.
Must be organized and not afraid to lead and ask questions of the dev team and the stakeholders, technical (somewhat) and organized, who is used to documenting complex processes. UX background is a plus. if you find someone exceptional around there or a little above then I’ll look at them. They’ll have to be on campus 5 days a week. We don’t need the option to convert.
- About 5 years of experience.
- Experience with web projects, the level of which can vary, but they must be able to understand components and content types. We can teach them, but we can’t understand it for them.
- Experience writing a BRD.
- Experience documenting complex processes.
- Technical-minded (doesn’t have to have development or technician experience, but a knack for how technology works – websites, databases, etc).
- Jira or similar experience working with dev teams to break out the documented requirements into development tasks/stories. Agile is a plus.
- Someone who is looking to fit into a team in the long term and look for growth in the role is preferred.
- They need to be a go-getter, ready to chase after work, lead meetings, and ask lots of questions, lead meetings with stakeholders and developers.
- In the Malvern office 5 days per week. We can drop the in office days to 2 days after they have been onboarded, but we need someone who is willing to come in when needed.
