We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst highly experienced working with credit unions and banks to join our team.
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the coordination of information systems with management, users, staff, and vendors for multiple financial institution clients. Support clients with analysis of various banking systems with focus on adding value to or streamlining processes and enhancing the member experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Act as primary contact for all assigned business system problems. Analyze, debug, test and document problems or recommend solutions that involve new applications. Follow up on problem resolution and inform staff of the status. Test and debug all assigned Business Systems before moving to a live environment.
- Monitor user proficiency in assigned Business Systems and support on-going training. Ensure that all system updates are communicated to users. Update documentation to reflect any resulting changes in systems, departmental procedures, or policies.
- Serve as information resource for users, including determination of the most appropriate data source, providing or arranging application-based report writing, or educating users to retrieve the information themselves.
- Responsible for assigned technical and procedural aspects of conversions, product expansion, and product interfaces to assigned Business Systems.
- Collaborate with all business partners, vendors & cross functional business units to develop & maintain systems & processes that promote operational integrity, optimize the member experience, end-user experience & organizational performance.
- Develop plans for implementation of new projects as assigned. Provide well-defined plans including procedures, documentation, deadlines and accountability.
- Assist in the training of staff as a subject matter expert. Prepare or coordinate development of procedural manuals used in conjunction with training needs.
- Balance the needs of multiple clients as assigned. Meet or exceed client expectations and keep account of time spent.
- All other duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
- I.T. functions are efficiently, effectively and accurately performed in accordance with established policies, standards and security procedures.
- Good working relationships and coordination exist with area personnel and with management. Appropriate assistance is provided to area staff as needed. Supervisor is informed of activities.
- Required reports and records are accurate, complete and timely.
- The organization’s professional reputation is conveyed and maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of 2-year certificate with commensurate experience.
Preferred Experience
- Expert knowledge of financial services business process and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- General knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures
- 3-5 Working in a financial services industry
- 3-5 years working in application support/business technology/information technology or related field
- Experience supporting common banking systems including but not limited to the following:
i. Meridianlink Loan & Deposit Origination
ii. CarmPro or ofther collections software
iii. NCINO/Visible Equity Portfolio Analytics
iv. Calyx LOS or other comercial and real estate LOS platforms
v. DocuSign or other e-signature solutions
vi. Mobile & Online Banking systems
vii. Debit and Credit Card Platforms
viii. Electronic Payment Systems
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent communication and public customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
- Must be able to utilize/view a monitor for an extended period.
- Must frequently use a keyboard to enter data.
- Sitting 90-95% and standing 5-10%.
- Working at a computer 90-95% of the day.
- Utilizing the phone 20 – 30%.
- Occasional lifting to ten lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
