As the Business Sustainability Manager, you will play a valuable role in supporting that experience by managing our corporate Carbon Neutral program, leading the management of Scope 1 & 2 reduction programs and other internal sustainability projects. (Note – 4imprint is Carbon Neutral Certified)

This role sits within the broader Supply Chain team managing sustainability, environmental, material, and regulatory compliance and will lead and collaborate with team-mates across the organization.

After a period of in-person training and time working onsite with your team, this role has the option to work remotely (in WI only at this time). In general, this timeframe tends to be around 3-4 weeks; may be dependent on training progress. Note that there will be situations when someone may choose or be asked to return onsite which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance.

Here is what a typical day might look like. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate daily: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, and Humility.
  • Collate and scope 1, 2, and 3 energy, transportation, waste, and water metrics across the organization, primarily from finance, facilities, and operational teams.
  • Compile into corporate level reporting
  • Drive improvements in data collection, ensuring they are in line with evolving public reporting standards (e.g., TCFD) and best practice.
  • Produce and submit annual submission for Carbon Neutral Certification via Climate Impact Partners, our sustainability partner.
  • Take responsibility for external reporting framework submissions such as EcoVadis, Wisconsin Green Masters, HIGG FEM etc., utilizing GHG reporting data and that managed by internal teams such as - Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain Monitoring.
  • Review feedback from external assessments, prioritize and collaborate with internal teams to make tangible improvements.
  • Ensure all data, policies, KPI, SOP’s related to such work is stored systematically and updated at regular intervals where necessary.
  • Produce professional internal reports on programs KPI and progress, draft and contribute to external public reporting.
  • Lead and manage 4imprint internal sustainability employee resource group (SMART) who support sustainability improvements within the organization and our local community.
  • Research and monitor changes to relevant environmental policy and best practices to inform and educate internally.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization on sustainability initiatives that support positive change.
  • Willingness to continually learn through webinars and attending relevant conferences.
  • Assist answering customer requests for corporate sustainability information and surveys.

  • A passion for analyzing and conveying sustainability data to drive positive change.
  • Strong interest and technical understanding of environmental issues and their impacts on business operations required.
  • Familiarity with current sustainability reporting frameworks and emerging disclosure trends to support ESG reporting.
  • Comfortable reaching our and collaborating with team-mates across the organization.
  • Excellent excel and proficient in using data-query tools.
  • Ability to summarize data and to present, explain and discuss the results within all levels of the organization.
  • Effective working well as part of a bigger team but comfortable taking ownership of projects.

Required education/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, sustainability, or science based.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience involving sustainability, supply chain, energy and/or EHS.
  • Strong interest and technical understanding of environmental issues and their impacts on business operations required.
  • Must be detailed and results oriented with excellent skill set for data analysis and organization of effective reports.
  • Proficient in analyzing regulatory requirements and/or standards and translating them into business implications.
  • Excellent excel skills, proficient in other MS Office applications.
  • Experience in pulling data from data-query tools such as XL3, BI, Tableau etc.
  • Customer or Supplier communication experience.

  • Work could be performed remotely (in WI only at this time) and at 4imprint, Oshkosh offices.
  • Limited business travel is expected – less than 4 weeks a year.
