Our team works a hybrid 9x80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls, EROB facility with every other Friday off! Responsibilities Include: The Business Process Architect delivers simplified, integrated, streamlined processes for directing various work activities at the Lab.
- The individual resolves a wide range of challenges in creative ways. This entails developing flow diagrams; working with Program Requirement Owners, Functional Requirement Leads, SMEs, and key collaborators and end-users to find opportunities to integrate related, stove-piped processes; and streamlining and simplifying the process content.
- The individual demonstrates good judgement within defined procedures and practices to resolve appropriate actions to solving problems of diverse scope.
- Will also work with Program Requirement Owners, Functional Requirement Leads, SMEs, and key customers to develop/enhance R2A2s for families of roles associated with process documents.
- Typical scope of projects will range from medium to large sized efforts.
- The individual will work independently to delivers successful outcomes.
- Evaluate work execution to better understand the challenges and find opportunities for improvements to the processes.
- Working with Program Requirement Owners, Functional Requirement Leads, SMEs, key team members, and end-users propose streamlined, integrated, simplified processes using the UPN methodology, and find opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate interactions between IM and Program Requirement Owners, Functional Requirement Leads, SMEs, key team members, and end-users for assigned system(s) related to delivery of the integrated process architecture (e.g., requirements management system, knowledge management system, R2A2 and SNOW/EDMS forms system).
- Works under only general direction. Normally receives little instruction day-to-day.
- Frequent internal organizational customer contact. May have some outside contacts.
- Contributes to completion of specific programs and projects.
- Must be capable of working effectively across organizational and functional boundaries.
- Ability to gain an in depth knowledge and understanding of laboratory work control processes
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to gain Project management and change management skills
- Ability to obtain a Green Belt or higher in Six Sigma
