The Job to Be Done
The Sr. BI Developer/Administrator (DBA) role is to design, develop, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune of BI reports in production, test/development, and QA database environments while ensuring high levels of data availability.
This individual is also responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing BI reporting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of all databases and their accompanying software. The Sr. BI Developer/Administrator will also be responsible for gathering reporting requirements, design, develop, implement, and train business users on reports, cubes, dashboards and will also be a liaison between the business teams as well as
the core IT teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant field.
- 5+ years' experience in Business Intelligence development - with tools like Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, SSRS(SQL Server Reporting Services) with at least minimum of 3 years of experience with Power BI/Snowflake/Tableau or similar development and administration experience
- Experience building and deploying BI dashboards & worksheets is required.
- Administration of Power BI or similar
- 3 years of experience with ETL, data modeling BI and Analytics data marts and cubes, implementing and supporting production environments
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience writing and tuning advance SQL against SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata environment.
- Work with users on gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and implementing solutions
- Perform administrative tasks of the BI and ETL tools and also assist in deployment of the application code
- Administration - BI Infrastructure Build & Maintenance & Standards.
- User Management & Change Management for BI/ETL. Monitoring & Tuning & Troubleshooting Working with the platform support teams to constantly Monitor, Tune & Optimize performance (both system and application)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Extract, Transform and Load process with tools like Jitterbit,Informatica, Alteryx, SSRS etc.
- Development knowledge/experience on PL/SQL, Transact SQL is highly preferred.
