- Ability to tackle complex business problems by converting raw data into meaningful and actionable business insights.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis of revenue-related data, identifying key trends, patterns, and anomalies for the revenue management leadership team.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient BI solutions that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions related to revenue management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, and Operations, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with other BI developers to integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Utilize Power BI and SSRS to create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide insights into key revenue metrics, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Ability to assist in analytics projects for other departments when needed.
- Identify opportunities to optimize revenue streams through data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Ability to write, update and troubleshoot existing complex SQL queries.
- Respond to business report requests by following standard SDLC processes, from requirements gathering, design, QA testing, deployment, and support.
- Support, maintain and troubleshoot report issues related to Microsoft Reporting Services (2019+).
- Maintain and support data feeds to external partners using SQL Server Integration Services (2019+).
- Direct experience authoring reports for at least 5 years using Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS 2019+).
- Expertise in SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, Excel is required.
- Programming skills in languages such as Python or R a plus.
- STR and TravelClick knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and industry best practices.
- Experience developing Business Intelligence solutions in the travel and hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must adhere to organizational codes of conduct and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
