What Will You Be Involved With?
- Lead projects to create business capabilities and
- improve the flow of information throughout the organization. Support strategic and operational decisions through analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of information. Provide accurate and timely reporting for exchanges.
- Train and educate internal users on business processes and systems. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create dashboards and data insights that drive product direction, pricing strategy, and sales. Perform ad hoc data collections and investigations for commercial operation teams.
- Work closely with finance, sales, and product teams to analyze financial and operational data. Liaise with external exchange market-data teams as well as virtual market data team. Develop knowledge base of compliance obligations, reporting requirements, and costs tied to market-data operations. Collaborate with Accounting to ensure optimization of A/P and A/R operations related to market data.
- Summarize formats of exchanges into common language. Technical environment: Futures and Options Exchange
- (e.g. CME, ICE, ASX, Euronext, etc.); market data and analytics; pivot tables; VLOOKUP; requirement gathering; data preparation; data modeling; data mining; statistical analysis; descriptive analysis; data reporting; SQL; ETL.
What You Bring to the Table
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or related field plus 2 years of experience in Data Analytics required.
- Required skills: pivot tables; VLOOKUP; requirement gathering; data preparation;
- data modeling; data mining; statistical analysis; descriptive analysis; data reporting; SQL; ETL.
- Some telecommuting permitted.
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Analytics, or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in Data Analytics also acceptable.
