Business Development Representative

Hai Robotics USA is looking for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow our market in North America. We are a global company that has been in the U.S. for 2+ years and this role will be key to help us continue to grow the market here in the US and North America. In this role you will be part of a fast-growing, US-based team. You will be an important part in developing this market from the early stages and enjoy the freedoms that come with working at a tech startup, with the backing of a global company that is a pioneer and leader in the industrial robotics industry.

The Role

In this role, the Business Development Representative will oversee the early life cycle of new prospects. You will be a vital player in new lead generation and developing new opportunities. This position will be responsible for the discovery of new clients, processing leads provided by marketing, exploring different ways to prospect, qualify, and ultimately generate tangible interest from potential customer to meet with our sales and solutions team.

Team collaboration is essential to this role as you will work closely with both the marketing and sales teams. This role is fully remote with up to 15% of the time traveling.

Responsibilities

• Process lead lists provided by marketing into the CRM and personally follow up by phone and by email with new and qualified prospects
• Work directly with prospects to identify, qualify, and develop the leads
• Transfer sales-ready prospects to the Sales and Solutions team
• Utilize events, LinkedIn, and other tools to find new prospects
• Attend trade shows and represent the company

Skills & Background:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong professional communication skills, both verbally and written
• Comfortable communicating by phone and by email and engaging people
• Sales and/or customer service experience preferred, but we recognize drive and will train the right person
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
• Team player and fast learner
