Job Summary:
The Business Development Team supports the growth of the firm through a variety of activities including strategic planning, direct outreach, event planning, execution and follow up, disposition of marketing leads, and cross-selling. This team is involved in the entirety of the sales process supporting and accelerating the efforts of the client service teams. The team delivers extraordinary results from strategy to consultation and planning to execution. We help our internal clients develop a clear vision aligned with their go-to-market growth goals and personalized for their targeted audiences.
The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Business Development efforts of their assigned group by using various operations systems, procedures and policies and monitoring and completing various projects.
Job Duties:
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings for assigned team members
  • Supports internal and external events with a variety of activities which may include, site selection, food/beverage selection, set up, calendar invitations, sponsorship forms, procurement of promotional items, invoice disposition, and other tasks required to ensure successful events
  • Curates marketing material from internal sources for external use, ensuring accuracy, as well as collaborating with National Events Planning team members as needed
  • Acts as champion of Microsoft Dynamics CRM data entry for assigned groups by performing tasks which may include input and updating of information, creating reports using native functionality, maintaining target lists for use in campaigns or for reporting purposes
  • Creates, edits and finalizes proposals/SOQs/presentations and works with Bid Management team as needed
  • Performs a variety of coordinator duties, which may be complex and confidential
  • Creates, updates, and maintains custom ad-hoc reports; minor data analysis as needed
  • Collaborates across departments and offices as necessary and uses critical thinking for proposed process improvements
  • Leverages appropriate firm tools, templates, and resources so that deliverables accurately reflect the firm's corporate visual identity
  • Prioritizes and works independently or with minimal supervision - duties may include but are not limited to assisting team lead and management with a variety of administrative tasks, project setup
  • Attends meetings as required, takes meeting notes and facilitates the distribution of all action items

Additional duties may include:
  • Coordinates travel arrangements, including but not limited to travel itineraries, agendas
  • Creates and submits expense reports as needed
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred

Experience:
  • One (1) year or more of administrative or sales support experience within a professional services organization, required

License/Certifications:
  • N/A

Software:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database systems, required
  • Customer Relationship Management system experience, preferred

Language:
  • N/A

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including superior grammar, spelling, and punctuation that enable the incumbent to work with top level management and other executive level clients
  • Possesses superior customer service skills, and displays independent judgment, finesse, and diplomacy in all situations.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and organizational structure
  • Team player who is willing to assist others as needed
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all matters
  • Consistently seeks to improve processes
  • Desire to learn and expand knowledge base

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $65,000 - $75,000
Colorado Range: $65,000 - $75,000
New York City/ Valhalla Range: $65,000 - $75,000
Washington Range: $65,000 - $75,000
