Business Development Associate

Job Description
As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the face of the company to leads and customers in the Austin metro area. You'll be generating new business through your experience in the office furniture industry.
Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of office furniture lead generation and sales experience in the Austin metro area.
• High computer literacy. Familiarity with G-suite (Google docs, presentations and spreadsheets).
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally to meet with potential clients and attend events/conventions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college or college degree
• Sales experience
• Strong organizational skills to manage an inbox efficiently
• Ability to multi-task with a wide variety of customer needs
• Good under pressure

What You'll Do

• Manage client accounts, develop business sales, and qualify leads in the Austin metro area
• Generate leads using your experience in the office furniture market
• Work to understand customer office furniture needs, create solutions that benefit our customers, and focus on an effective sales process.
• Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
• Create and improve proposals for clients.
• Help with the planning, running and attending of local events such as RTX, SXSW, BISNOW to achieve a positive return on the expo investment
• Work with our amazing inside sales team

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, tradeshows and some travel for client visits.
