The Health and Human Services (HHS) IT Solutions team is recruiting for a Business ApplicationsSpecialist I - Local Security Officer. This team supports over 65 programs and services covering Behavioral Health, Developmental Services, Criminal Justice diversion programs, Social Services, and department administrative/operations teams. Our HHS IT Solutions team manages a significant portfolio of complex Business Applications including Electronic Healthcare Records, Case Management, Benefits Eligibility, Financial Management and Billing, Human Capital Management, Payroll and Regulatory Compliance systems.
The Local Security Officer will report to the HHS IT Solutions Lead for Access Management and Workforce Mobility. This group is responsible for the Access Management for 46 Business Applications used by the department's 1,500 staff members. As a Local Security Officer, you will have an opportunity to work with a diverse and highly skilled group of IT professionals that thrive in a collaborative team solutioning environment.
Duties:
- Access Management for 51 Business Applications in support of the Department of Human Services; ensure that service requests for access have the appropriate applications(forms), authorizations, and that the individual being granted access has the required credentials
- Work closely with City IT and HSD Personnel Team to ensure new staff members have been granted access to all authorized Business Applications up on hire and departing staff access is terminated
- Develop and manage knowledge articles in ServiceNow
- ServiceNow queue management of service requests and incidents
- Access management and other information security audits
- Provide support for end users and supervisors via live calls, chats and in person
- Serve as a point of contact for IT's Information Security Office and support requests from the Chief Information Security Officer
- Attend IT and Commonwealth IT operations meetings related to information & security management
- Ensure compliance with Commonwealth and City access management policies.
- Provide training for new members and ongoing services offerings related to cybersecurity awareness
- Prepare and present briefings and portfolio updates for IT and Human Services leadership and staff
- Mentor SYEP and STEM Interns
