Business Analyst/Planner

WIS is a fast growing software and hardware company focused on the recycling/trash industry. Our mission is to automate the waste industry with innovative cutting edge products.

We are seeking a Business Planner/Analyst who will work collaboratively with customer support teams and to successfully deliver projects/product implementations to our customers worldwide.

About the Job

• We are a remote company, so working from home or customer offices, in North America
• The job will involve a lot of project oriented work, which will involve understanding customers' needs, determining solutions to meet those needs, and documenting these solutions in the form of user stories, use cases and technical specifications that can be implemented by the applicable team or by you.
• Develop and recommend solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, and needs.
• Good grasp of solutions modeling through a broad toolkit of methods/artifacts. MS excel being a major one
• Work closely with the delivery, customer service and product teams to address questions and provide clarification on requirements during delivery of projects.

About You:

• Excellent English
• A very high degree of critical thinking, this will be tested
• Average skill level in MS excel
• Ideally hold a minimum of a college degree in a Business or related discipline
• You have a proven track record of achieving measurable goals at previous jobs
• A "Can Do" attitude, with a hunger and 'self-starter' drive.
• Ability to establish, build and nurture relationships with senior executives (internally and with customers) through developing an understanding of their business, the challenges they face, future projects and plans in order to address their needs
• You like computers and actually care about what smartphone you have - none of this "can you fix it for me"

The role will entail a base salary with 20 days paid vacation per year. With annual increases once performance is delivered
