About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, define product features, and drive the development of our innovative mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business analysis, product ownership, and a deep understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and user needs.
   • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and translate them into clear and concise requirements for mobile applications.
2. Use Case and User Story Creation:
   • Translate business requirements into clear and concise use cases and user stories.
   • Collaborate with development teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project goals and deliverables.
3. Release Planning and Coordination:
   • Plan and coordinate release cycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality mobile applications.
   • Work with cross-functional teams to define release scope, schedule, and resource requirements.
4. Quality Assurance and Testing Support:
   • Work closely with quality assurance teams to define test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
   • Assist in the identification and resolution of defects during the testing phase.
5. Market Research:
   • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the mobile app space.
   • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of our mobile applications.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on mobile applications.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Firm understanding of mobile app development methodologies and technologies.
• Experience working in Agile SDLC.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work and deliver results independently, self-starter.
• Proficient in English.
• Knowledge of JIRA is desired.

Expectations and Compensation

• Work from home with occasional days in office (Rochelle Park, NJ)
• Pay commensurate with experience.
