About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, define product features, and drive the development of our innovative mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business analysis, product ownership, and a deep understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and user needs.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and translate them into clear and concise requirements for mobile applications.
- Use Case and User Story Creation:
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise use cases and user stories.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Release Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate release cycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality mobile applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define release scope, schedule, and resource requirements.
- Quality Assurance and Testing Support:
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to define test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of defects during the testing phase.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the mobile app space.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of our mobile applications.
- Minimum 2+ years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on mobile applications.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Firm understanding of mobile app development methodologies and technologies.
- Experience working in Agile SDLC.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively.
- Ability to work and deliver results independently, self-starter.
- Proficient in English.
- Knowledge of JIRA is desired.
- Work from home with occasional days in office (Rochelle Park, NJ)
- Pay commensurate with experience.
