Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Business Analyst opportunity available based in Doral, FL. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Top Secret security clearance.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
- Elicits, gathers, documents, and analyzes business and technical requirements and process workflows.
- Creates and updates documentation for existing and new information technology systems (e.g., requirements analysis, use cases, user stories, and level of effort/resource estimates).
- Analyzes detailed system factors, including input/output requirements, information flow, hardware/software requirements, and reliability characteristics.
- Performs complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a enterprise operations.
- Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
- Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
- Evaluate current ITIL ITSM environment and existing processes using industry best practices to improve and simplify processes.
- Provide ITIL best practice service management consulting at a strategic, design, and operational level.
- Develops strategies to eliminate gaps in service while improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform gap analysis, identify risk, provide risk remediation strategies, and provide recommendations to improve processes.
- Champion organizational change and adoption of service management best practices by providing coaching and training to ingrain processes into the culture.
- Provides guidance and implements processes and artifacts for Service Strategy, Service Design, Continual Service Improvement, and Quality Assurance processes.
- Provide project management expertise to support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and new Information Technology (IT) requirements.
- Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints.
- Develop the overall project plan, resource loading, project schedule, and manage project operations.
- Manage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, and project conflicts.
- Ensures proper communications are established between customers, teams, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
- Ensure team members know and execute their respective roles and resources are used effectively.
- Plan, execute, and close projects on-time and within the established scope of customer objectives.
- Coordinate resolution of operations related issues.
- Additional duties as required.
Required QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
- PMI – Project Management Professional (PMP)
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Must possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
DESIred QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in the DoD or Federal landscape.
- Technically inclined, able to gain proficiency with disparate business applications quickly (Microsoft Project/Visio, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Able to maintain clear communication with a diverse team of individuals and eloquently communicate complex topics to non-technical individuals.
- Is a leader and comfortable coordinating diverse teams of individuals.
- Highly organized and able to maintain structure and efficiency even in chaotic environments.
- A problem-solver and able to resolve issues without granular direction.
- Flexible and able to multi-task effectively to meet delivery requirements on time in an often-shifting landscape.
- Experience with direct customer support for both internal and external customers.
- Experience working with enterprise information technology infrastructure including but not limited to data center operations, server hardware, operating systems, virtualization, networking, storage, monitoring, automation, etc.
- ITIL v4 Expert
- Six Sigma Green Belt
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- In some occasions, overnight travel may be required.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. Office setting:
- Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
- Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
- May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
