This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Business Analyst - Technical Writer I for our Laramie WY , or any mutually agreed upon office . Be involved in projects with our Information Security Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
+ Prepares technical documentation for consumption by project stakeholders.
+ Works to streamline the tasks and processes, building in efficiencies by leveraging automation where possible.
+ Works with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables and artifacts that are intended for audiences of varying levels of technical and business knowledge.
+ Organizes, writes, and edits supporting technical and project documents as needed.
+ Develops and maintains documentation required for system security certification.
+ Develops and improves methodology for delivering information.
+ Assists Architects, Product Owners, and other team members with soliciting, documenting, and tracking business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
+ 3-5 experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on decision management and rules engines.
+ Proficiency in modeling decision tables, rule flows, and decision trees.
+ Experience translating technical information into clear, concise documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
+ Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
+ Strong documentation skills.
+ Experience documenting and creating processes.
+ Be able to consult and lead discussions and make recommendations throughout the process.
+ Be comfortable in a high-paced environment and be able to manage relationships effectively.
+ Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
+ Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
+ Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and the Google Tool Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or MCSE a plus

Compensation
Expected Salary: $61,000 - $75,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
Expected Salary: $61,000 - $75,000
