At ServiceNow, we're looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their career, all while making a giant impact. Team Overview
Biz Ops (Business Operations) Team drives the strategy, planning, budgeting, execution, new product introduction (NPI) and Go To Market (GTM) Readiness, and Strategic program management for Global Operations and Monetization Organization (GOM). GOM owns company's monetization/pricing strategy and execution, New Product Introduction, Sales Operations supporting all routes to market including partner and services, Sales Process and Systems Transformation, and Biz Ops Services.
Biz Ops is connecting tissue across this large organization and engine that drives Servicenow's NNACV strategy and execution in partnership with different organizations of the company. Team comprises of talents with many years of experience in Strategy, Finance, Operations, NPI, Product, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and IT organizations from Fortune 500 companies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive strategy, planning, budgeting, and execution of the annual planning process under executive direction
- Create SVP + level executive presentation during planning and execution cycle
- Lead strategic planning, road mapping, and execution of different organizational projects
- Manage execution efforts in partnership with our operational, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of strategic initiative outcomes.
- Own project plan for cross-functional efforts and help define the project and program objectives, outcomes, and key success measures
- Develop and implement best practices across operating processes and teams
- Drive process improvement and effectiveness including troubleshooting operational issues as they arise
- Collect data input and conduct analysis to form recommendations and mitigation plan for the areas of potential risks and issues
- Create frameworks to help structure the team's thinking, drive visibility, and facilitate alignment
- Work closely with leaders across the organization to develop goals, objectives, and key results; develop systems for managing performance against those goals
- Support day to day operations and delivering on strategy and operational plans from the planning process against the organizational strategic priorities
- Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence
Qualifications
- Pursuing Master's degree in strategy, business, public policy, strategic operations, operations, finance, data science or related field from a top tier school and on track to graduate between Dec 2024-June 2025
- 2-4 years related work experience in managing programs across Corporate or functional Strategy, Planning, Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Go-to-Market or interlinked functions, ideally in the SaaS and software industry.
- Can drive interlock across BU, Sales, and other GTM functions for offers during incubation, accelerate, and scale stages.
- Strong strategy, planning, budgeting, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Aptitude and ability to turn data into insights & actions.
- A problem solver with the ability to identify solutions to complex business issues.
- Must be self-managed, responsive, and able to work in a virtual team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint & Excel
- Intellectual curiosity, hands-on mentality, and phenomenal attention to detail
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written skills.
- Ability to build meaningful business relationships with ServiceNow customers, prospects, and internal colleagues.
- An ambitious, creative, goal-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to think big and deliver projects from conception through completion.
- Highly organized and efficient.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, and ability to adapt in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
- A basic understanding of Cloud computing and SaaS offerings is a plus.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a hourly pay of $39.64, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
