Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Assist in the redesign, analysis, development, implementation and support of business processes and systems for financial business units.
- Lead business process re-engineering teams for complex business process redesign.
- Act as liaison between business unit and Information Technology staff to implement new systems or system upgrades that support the business unit.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed specifications for technical staff.
- Maintain system configurations for business processes that are supported.
Functional Support:
- Analyze issues within supported business processes and systems providing recommendations to address and/or resolve.
- Prepare testing plans and design and maintain test scripts for the processes and systems that are supported. Conduct testing in support of upgrades and enhancements applied to supported systems.
- As requested, provide ad hoc reports for business processes and systems
- Maintain user and training documentation for supported business processes and systems. Provide training for primary users of systems and processes that are supported.
Additional Position Information:
Qualifications:
- Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience of business or systems analysis and process improvement.
- Basic knowledge in defining and documenting business processes.
- An understanding of current general Information Technology concepts, theories, trends and systems.
- Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
- Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively conduct presentations is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to and manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Experience in process improvement and change management processes.
- Experience with Workday and knowledge of financial and/or grant guidelines and practices a plus.
