- 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- SQL– writing SQL queries etc. Familiarity with SQL
- Outside the Box Thinker – Multi-faceted Business Analyst
- Understand business and deliver actionable Intel
- 1 year of automotive and/or maintenance & repairs experience.
- Quicksight Degree or Certification:
- Bachelor’s (preferred, but not required)
1. Intuition
a. Keeping the bigger picture and "why” in mind when executing tasks to ensure we are generating relevant deliverables; consider audience
b. Develop the ability to 'smell test' data and information sources, and flagging relevant gaps and discrepancies when necessary
c. Coming forward with problems AND solutions or suspected root causes; independently deep diving and following up when appropriate
2. Problem Solving
a. Determining if the problem is worth solving and the required effort, considering relevant accuracy and detail levels
b. Internally clarifying high-level goal of the analysis before starting the task
c. Defining step-by-step process to achieve goal (including writing out steps for self, when needed)
d. Knowing when and why it is appropriate to deviate from a planned process; pivoting when necessary
3. Document Revisioning and Data Consistency
a. Being upfront and transparent about any errors
b. Ensuring the most recent version of a file is readily identifiable

*Level 2 (highest) level tasks are not considered at this time;
examples include BRD creation and statistical analysis
• Timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks with minimally required review and revisions
o Generate actionable and trustworthy metrics to drive high-level business conversations; ensure metric traceability through organized data storage and working files
o Provide insights directing others the most important metrics trends, data issues, and other related observations
o Independent collection of required data sources (provided) and understanding of, including maintaining and suggesting revisions when applicable, calculation processes
• Independent ad hoc analysis according to stated analytical goals
o Correctly infer or confirm (including follow up questions as necessary and appropriate) the objective of and reasoning behind the requested analysis
o Independent identification and location of the data required to meet the requested analysis goal
o Self-review and refine the analysis product or output before presenting to others, while adhering to applicable timeline and quality standards
• Update and maintain process flow, data structure, and other similar documents
o Independently infer and understand the usage and purpose of these documents; regularly review and self-validate this high-level understanding
o Independent execution of requested revisions while maintaining consistent (with other sections) document formatting, flow, and presentation
• Development of Data Structures and Calculation Schema
o Ensure that the resulting output aligns with organizational objectives (bigger picture)
o Produce outputs which are considerate of and compatible with existing data structures, processes, and efforts; identify and collect related formats and efforts as necessary
o Recognize when compromise on the speed, quality, or other aspects of the effort at hand is necessary to enable larger synergies
o Generate applicable sample data to illustrate schema or structure functionality to an audience unfamiliar with the effort
• Creation of Materials for FES Programs
o Collect and compile information from applicable sources into the provided and desired format for the document output
