Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced, highly quantitative, driven and creative Demand Planner to focus on AR/VR hardware and accessory demand forecasting/strategic planning for one of our existing or future product families within our Direct to Consumer channel.
Responsibilities:
- This position will require cross-functional coordination across several groups, with an emphasis on partnering with Sales Account and Category Managers, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Product Management.
- The successful candidate will combine strategic planning and decision making with deep data analytics and insights.
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about AR/VR and consumer hardware, have a demonstrated interest in data and technology, work well independently, be highly analytical and demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate highly complex topics to a broad audience.
- This role will challenge the candidate to understand and impact many facets of hardware business strategy, including sales planning, financial forecasting, strategic pricing, trade marketing, sales analytics and supply chain analytics. Experience in ecommerce demand planning is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS/MBA in business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering or similar discipline).
- 2+ years of experience of bottoms up demand planning for hardware or consumer products (including accessories).
- 6+ years of experience in business strategy, finance, analytics or sales planning experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in shifting priorities, while maintaining organization and control.
- Experience in Ecommerce demand planning/sales forecasting
- Experience in SQL/Tableau/Power BI/visualization tools.
- Experience in strategic planning in tech company, investment banking or strategy consulting with a focus on technology.
- Experience with forecasting tools (e.g. Anaplan, Algo, e2open, etc.).
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
