- The Benefit Disbursements function within TST provides comprehensive benefit payment administration offerings for clients for Tax, Payment processing, and self-administration.
- The Client is seeking an experienced Product Specialist to specialize in benefit payments processing transformation and digitization.
- The Product Specialist will work with the team to ensure that business requirements are successfully and efficiently transitioned into working software.
- Elicits and challenges business requirements through an inquisitive mindset.
- Creates user stories for to capture functional requirements for projects ranging from small functional enhancements to large multi-year transformations.
- Drives business architectural solutions focused on flexibility, time to market, and re-usability.
- Collaborates with business and technology partners to provide a seamless experience to users when interacting with payment systems.
- Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems and provides guidance to team members on complex testing tasks including use case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution.
- Collaborates with business and technology teams to develop strategic technology roadmap.
- Demonstrates strong business and technical knowledge in Benefit Disbursements Processing.
- Experience in writing BRD/FRD and participating in solution design with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Benefit Disbursements is a plus.
- Knowledge of Payments is a plus.
- Knowledge of SDLC, project management tools and other methodologies like Agile is a plus.
- Experience in Financial Services industry.
- Experience with Jira, SQL and exposure to Cobol is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years' experience required.
- Job holder must have extensive experience with specific methods, tools and techniques for clearly defining and documenting client needs and associated requirements.
- Must be able to analyze client requirements, monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and keep projects on track.
- Must also have prior lead experience producing detail-level functional or operational requirement documentation and conducting inspections of required documents and quality reviews.
- Must hold a BS degree in a business or technical-related field.
- Must possess superior communication and presentation skills with expertise in formal requirements elicitation techniques, including formal workshop facilitation with stakeholders.
- As well, the job holder must utilize industry domain expertise to challenge and prioritize the business and client requirements influence decision making, and drive consensus to allow for solution optimization, speeding time-to-market.
