What You’ll Do
Under the leadership of the Vice President of Business Intelligence and Project Management, this position will discover, design, execute and manage data-based projects and help implement systems around those projects. This role will provide key business intelligence support to all leaders and divisions of the company by providing key data insights, charting trends and projections, and performing ongoing sales and operational analyses.
As a Business Analyst at StartCHURCH, you will:
- Maintain an ongoing curriculum of learning tasks, including video courses, books, online courses, and other learning tools, and revise progress with a supervisor at least once a month
- Maintain proper and consistent communication with peers and supervisors while working remotely
- Adhere to all established policies and regulations found in the company’s employee handbook
- Attend BI discovery meetings
- Capture, sort, and organize essential information required for BI tasks
- Support staff with access and general use of BI tools and software
- Reliably document action items identified during meetings and discussions
- Assist bBI teammates in creating individual project boards as needed per new project development
- Designing and maintaining data and databases; this includes crated templates, platforms, and other data-related problems.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in designing and implementing systems to maximize data profitability
- Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by staff.
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Design, create and analyze the data to generate reporting modeling or templates.
- Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Collaborating with different teams and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for business improvements, recommend modifications and suggestions for business development and operational efficiencies
- Reliably create and manage analyses and dashboards in AWS Quicksight
What We'll Love About You
- Must be highly proficient in SQL
- Must be familiar with Data Visualization tools (AWS Quicksight is ideal)
- Must have experience in crafting business analytics presentations
- Must be familiar with data supply chain components
- Must be able to quickly extract/analyze data, summarize results/conclusions and effectively present findings
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related analytical discipline or 3 years of equivalent business experience required
- Must have working knowledge on systems implementation
- Experience with Hubspot reporting and workflow features"
- Experience in Data wrangling and modeling through the use of ETL techniques"
