We are looking for a smart, risk-taking, and creative-thinking BA with the ability to execute swiftly in a fast-paced environment using excellent communication skills to obtain the right answers. This role involves the documentation of complex requirements, based on client or Product Owner discussions, and the creation of precise mock-ups, user guides, wireframes, and diagrams.
What are we looking for:
- Retail Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Pricing, Campaigns, Logistics, and Master Data in the Retail sector
- Proven track record in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions
- Strong proficiency in project lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage project timelines, priorities, and risks effectively
- Knowledge of ERP systems in the context of Retail operations
- >1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in the Retail industry
- Creating the Business Requirements Document (BRD) by collaborating closely with our client and translating their inputs into detailed specifications for the development team
- Maintaining a strong relationship with both stakeholders and the development team
- Holding business calls, demos, presentations, and prioritization of the project backlog
- Ensuring compliance with agreed-upon requirements
- Developing project scope and boundaries
- Performing technical assessment/option
- Developing data models and process flows
- Creating Mock-ups for user interfaces
- Performing/Assisting UAT
- Suggesting process improvements techniques/methods
- Assisting in effort estimations
- Facilitating implementations through trainings/presentations
- Supporting change management
Nice to have:
- Experience in analyzing large datasets to derive meaningful insights for business decision-making
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex project landscapes
Tools:
- Documentation tool: Atlassian Confluence, DevOps Wiki, word-editors
- Backlog management & board management - backlog management with tools like Atlassian Jira, DevOps, Excel (to be able to document epic/stories)
- Any diagram tool you prefer (Visio, draw.io, etc. ) for flows, processes, etc.
- Mock-up tool (Balsamiq or anything else) for low-fidelity mocks
- Any image editing skills (nice to have)
