Build And Release Engineer

Being a Build and Release Engineer, you will have to be expert in managing, documenting and enhancing organizations software product and it's implementations. Also, will have to look after the work to create and execute it. Responsible for the timely release software’s for organization/clients and may manage the software implementation process from development to execution. in addition, to the normal work few other work will be assigned to the person, which is mentioned below:

Roles & Responsibilities :

• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
• Gather product installer requirements from Development and Product groups
• Software Release Management
• Responsible for maintaining source control and branch management
• Responsible for managing build loops
• Responsible for source code repositories integrity
• Collaborate with Test Automation group on pipeline
• Create new installers and/or maintain/update existing product installers

Skills :

• Experience of Cloud Deployment (Google Cloud / AWS) and automation tools like Chef / Puppet.
• Exposure to log/data analytical tools like Splunk / Probe is a plus.
• Automate release processes to eliminate manual work and human error.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and remove obstacles.
• Certain years of experience in writing complex Linux shell scripts and installing software in Linux environments.
• Experience working with MySQL, MongoDB and similar databases.
• Exposure to Performance testing and tools is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualification :

• Bachelors’ in Computer Science, MS in Engineering or Equivalent
• Certification/Experience in Dev-Ops (preferable)
