Senior Software Engineer, Build & Release

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Work with your team to master a variety of technology stacks #LI-HYBRID
• Manage and optimize build systems, conducting refactoring and addressing bugs to ensure seamless operation
• Take responsibility for the smooth and timely operation of our development lifecycle, including the development and maintenance of various tools
• Partner with application engineering teams to understand product needs, and help with the efficient testing and delivery of our products
• Champion and promote excellent practices and processes to ensure the timely and stable delivery of our products
• Provide support for our QA, engineering and PM teams
• Thoroughly document the build processes, diagrams and standard procedures for clear guidance to team members

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline
• 5+ years of professional hands-on Software Engineering or release engineering experience
• Experience with at least one object oriented programming language like Java, C++, C
• Experience with at least one scripting language like Python, Bash, Perl
• Public cloud provider experience (AWS or GCP is a plus)
• Experience with common service technologies like web servers, message queues, load balancers, and databases
• Fluency in source control (Git) and various CI/CD tools
• Flexibility to work with a variety of technologies and legacy systems, balanced against a passion to streamline and modernize
• Skill at troubleshooting problems across the stack, providing both immediate fixes as well as long term solutions
• Flexibility about work hours and being on call
• Strong communication and time management skills

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $200,000 + equity + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
