Budgeting & Planning Support Consultant

The Team:

The financial modelers, data analysts and product experts of the Professional Services team help financial institutions harness the full potential of Empyrean’s software solutions through training, support, consulting and implementation services.

Responsibilities:

· Train and support clients on functional and technical matters related to Empyrean’s Budgeting and Planning product

· Analyze and interpret detailed bank and credit union balance sheet and income statement projections

· Prepare and present Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) or risk measurement reports to clients

· Act as a liaison between the product management team and the user community

· Perform other job duties and assignments as needed and directed

Experience and Education:

· Degree in finance, accounting or related discipline

· 1-3 years of experience in banking, FP&A or financial technology

· Solid understanding of the banking industry

· Solid understanding of fixed-income cashflow calculation

· Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements

· Advanced knowledge of Excel

· Experience working with large datasets

· Strong attention to detail and good planning and organization skills

Preferred skills:

· Experience in data visualization or business intelligence

· Knowledge of SQL

· Prior customer success/customer support experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
