Under the direction of the Environmental Program Manager (EPM) I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) works closely with the PSP EPM I and Supervising Environmental Scientists (PSP Supervisors) and has lead responsibilities for the PSP to track and perform analytical and administrative duties related to the PSP. The incumbent advises and makes recommendations to the EPM on PSP administrative status. The analyst develops and tracks budgets and legislative proposals, prepares bill analyses, and researches and writes reports and grant proposals for the PSP. The incumbent must maintain cooperative working relationships with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Office of Grants Administration, Financial Services, Budget, and Legislative Offices, Inspection Services Division Director, I&C Branch Chief, Program supervisors, staff, and other State and Federal government agency staff.
