Budget Analyst

• Primary responsibility for Invoice processing, Invoice status reporting and Vendor aging reports.
• Handles the purchasing function for minor equipment, minor software, etc.
• Conducts basic financial analysis on trending of expenses.
• Basic working knowledge of GAAP and general understanding of the General Ledger
• Understanding of internal requisitions and interdepartmental financial transfers.
• Comfortable communicating clearly and effectively with Managers, Directors and up
• Ability to understand and explain simple budget variances
• Understanding of basic contractual final clauses is a plus
• Able to understand and prepare basic journal entries
• Ability to create spreadsheets with an intermediate level of understanding of Excel

Able to liaison with Accounting, Accounts Payable and Purchasing departments to resolve invoice discrepancies

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
