General Purpose and Scope:

This remote position will manage the logistics and communication of brewing and food co-products (spent grain, yeast, and more) from their source to our customers, mainly farms. This role will work directly with the Brewery Services Team (business development, scheduling, and billing) to streamline processes and create efficiencies for a customer-centric experience.

Key Personal Attributes include:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in Account Management, Logistics Management, Scheduling, or related field with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Provide support during business hours with occasional evening and weekend hours.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Resource Management (CRM) Software, and Google Workspace products.
  • Multi-tasking abilities coupled with strong organizational skills.

Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Create, forecast, and maintain schedules for pickups and deliveries based on daily and weekly brewing data.
  • Work with trucking company dispatchers to schedule loads, manage issues, and facilitate communications.
  • Work with the Group Manager to build key aspects of business execution including forecasting, annual budget preparation for the area of responsibility, and expense management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicting resource needs and mediate between them when challenges arise.
  • Communicate price adjustments when they occur to farms.
  • Enter farm sales contracts as needed in MS Dynamics.
  • Send delivery calendar appointments and cancellations.
  • Update the Brewery Services Team on product fluctuations, market intelligence, and load concerns
  • Update the billing team on out-of-spec loads, detention time, and other invoice-related information.
  • Document scheduling processes and keeping records.
  • Adjust the volume of customers to accommodate supply through contracting to achieve maximum efficiency in the market and margin.
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure load timing and parameters are current and accurate via email, text, and phone.
  • Work with the Group Manager and Credit Department to manage accounts receivable risk.
  • Gather ongoing customer data and feedback to better understand their needs and experiences.
  • Provide coverage for team members when out of the office.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $64,500 - $85,980. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
