SALARY:
$5,228 - $8,003/per month Non-PERS Rate
$5,540 - $8,483/per month PERS Rate
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
In this role you will act as an Application Administrator for the Oregon Administrative Rules Database, publish the Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), and provide assistance related to Oregon Administrative Rules to state agencies and the public.
This is accomplished in part by, but not limited to:
  • Receiving, reviewing and processing administrative rules filed by state agencies online in the Oregon Administrative Rules Database (OARD)
  • Processing administrative rule filings for publication
  • Explaining Oregon Administrative Rules timelines and filing procedures to individuals filing or researching administrative rules
  • Receiving record requests related to administrative rules and helping to fulfill those
  • Provide OARD and rules training for coordinators

Your application must demonstrate education and/or experience in the following:
A Bachelor's Degree* in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification

As the most competitive candidate, your application will demonstrate the following requested skills and experience:
  • Experience with or knowledge of administrative rules.
  • Experience with the administrative rules process.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience reviewing and analyzing state laws, rules and regulations.
  • Knowledgeable about Oregon administrative rules (per ORS 183) and rulemaking procedures.
  • Ability to communicate rule filing processes and requirements in a clear and concise manner verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service

Preference may be awarded to candidates with direct experience working with Oregon rule filing and the Oregon Administrative Rules Database.
