Breakfast Attendant/Housekeeper

```Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant/Housekeeper to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant/Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant stay experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized Bed & Breakfast. Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner
• Conducting guest check-ins and check-outs including collecting payments
• Answering the main phone to accept bookings and take guest inquiries
• Ensuring that all areas of the B&B are properly cleaned and ready for guests' arrival
• Disinfecting/sanitizing bedrooms and bathrooms (tubs, showers, toilets, sinks), dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and making beds for arriving guests
• Inspects rooms and all common areas daily and promptly addresses all issues that may be present, such as restocking guest toiletries or replacing a light bulb
• Preparing and serving breakfast each morning by request
• Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the safety and quality of food being served
• Taking care of guest needs during their stay, by establishing rapport and connection
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation or the Bed & Breakfast

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
• Ability to learn booking systems and manage the listings online to accept digital bookings from incoming guests
• Willingness to be hands on, sometimes taking the initiative to make difficult decisions and solve problems
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance and demeanor, face-to-face customer experience
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Attention to detail, punctual, reliable, and capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. to meet the physical demands of the job
• Energetic and results driven, must display a genuine interest in providing a unique experience for all guests, making them want to return to stay again
• Basic understanding of food safety practices and regulations
• Must be at least 18 years or older

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week

Shift:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Ability to Relocate:

• Richmond, VA 23221: Relocate before starting work (Required)
