Breakfast Attendant

SUMMARY:

In an effort and in a manner which furthers HDG Hotel’s Vision, Mission and Values, this position is primarily responsible for creating a lasting impression on guests with whom they interact in the dining and other areas of an ARK Hospitality Hotel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

§ Prepare and serve food in a timely manner according to brand and health standards.

§ Greet all guests in a welcoming manner in common areas.

§ Maintain cleanliness of breakfast area and kitchen.

§ Maintain food inventory.

§ Order and receive food into inventory.

§ Able to work well with others.

§ Willing to help in other areas of the hotel if needed.

ATTENDANCE:

Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Less than high school education.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
