Role Overview
Dreams To Reality Music Group is looking for a Branding & Marketing intern to help leverage and developing the candidate’s brand building and marketing capabilities spanning across social, digital and customer relationship management. The candidate will assist in brand management of the DTRMG brand and the companies flagship event Cassettes and Cognac.
At the end of the summer, the applicant will be asked to prepare and present a brand identity/brand book for the DTRMG brand. If approved, this role can expand to an on-going part-time position to fully manage the brand management of DTRMG.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing marketing strategy through competitive research, messaging, copy writing and audience defining
- Help with social media content creation, community management and acquisition
- Conduct market research and analyze reports/ questionnaires
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Help with internal events, trade shows and promotional event coordination – logistical details, planning, tracking, set up, tear down and more
- Attend weekly executive management meetings, external promotional/brand events, and any other relevant meetings that come up as part of assigned projects
- Help with sample orders and tracking; Assist with the coordination of marketing literature
- Identify appropriate graphics and photos we can use as we expand our marketing materials
- Update marketing inventories and databases; Support the executive team in daily tasks
- Prepare promotional presentations
- Google Analytics tracking and help
Qualifications & Skills
- Junior or Senior in college and actively enrolled in a marketing, design, consumer behavior, communications, advertising or related field of study
- Urge to learn about marketing and brand management
- Fundamental background in social media networking sites
- Self-motivated, can prioritize tasks and has project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
