JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary
The Strategic Operations Manager, New Unit Openings will lead the implementation of the Maaco Operating System and lead franchisees in the initial opening and on-going phases of their Maaco franchise development. You will be expected to execute an instruction, demonstration, and observation approach to operational development and focus primarily on franchisee leadership to direct and hold team members accountable through the Operating System. As a Strategic Operations Manager among other things, you will be expected to fulfill the duties as detailed below:
Responsibilities
- Regularly communicate with franchisees throughout the opening or resale process.
- Acts as the point of contact for Maaco support center team members as it relates to each project.
- Demonstrates how to achieve weekly goals and reporting with the franchisee.
- Leads franchisees through team member evaluations and assists in crew development.
- Holds franchisee accountable to achieving Maaco Benchmarks relative to the opening process, including construction, Image Guidelines, and team member management.
- Provides a direct extension from the Maaco Training class to in-the-field training during opening.
- Consistently communicates with leadership on weekly objectives and progress updates with documentation as prescribed in FranConnect/Monday.
- Uses the effective pre-set format to know the goals of the week, ensures that franchisees and team members are progressing through benchmarks.
- Works directly with franchisee to lead, coach and develop the Maaco Mindset.
- Understands, executes and communicates the Maaco Operating System.
- Uses all MIS systems to identify areas of opportunity for each franchisee.
- Daily problem solving based on the Maaco Operating System.
- Maintains current status on all Maaco Learning Management System modules.
- Train, coach and guide franchisees through the Maaco Certification process.
- Contribute to projects relating to network advancement in technology, training, and tooling (i.e. EV).
- Special Initiatives: CCC, Market Meetings, Monthly webinars, Lunch and Learns as needed
- Upholds the Maaco brand, image, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong work ethic, independence, and dependability.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills and proven success driving for results individually and in a team setting.
- Excellent attention to detail.

- Experience with CCC One, a plus
