WHAT YOU'LL DO
TEAM seeks a Brand Ambassador to serve as a dedicated brand expert and resource focused on all things brand related in the assigned market. The Brand Ambassador is expected to work under two important umbrellas; Marketing/Brand Ambassador & Commercial Sales. You will develop and maintain relationships with accounts, trade and distributor partners. Increase brand awareness and growth through menu placements, distribution and advocacy for the brand. An entrepreneurial mentality is key to success in this role.
With a Creator’s mentality you are the visible image and face of the brand through consumer, trade, and digital channels. Working in collaboration with the On- Premise team, you will play a critical role in spreading the brand messages and developing long lasting relationships to consumers, on-trade personnel, and distributor partners. The on-premise landscape is a competitive and dynamic space where we see brands vying for position on already busy back bars and menus. The ambassador is an extension of the Sales & Marketing Teams. This role has a primarily on-premise focus in the casual / fine dining / bar / lodging channels with additional focus on supporting our Sales, Marketing and Distributor partners; all with the ambition of keeping the brand at the forefront to increase sales through menu placements. With a solid understanding of bar business operations, you will have creditability to inspire the on-trade to recommend the brand through education, engagement + custom programming in your key focus accounts and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate cross-functionally with TEAM leadership, commercial / sales, marketing, and commerce marketing to deliver and execute brand plans through various brand and sales activities
Generate awareness of the Brands by bringing brand programs to life with key customers
A focus on gatekeeper education and trade engagement to help drive recommendations
Skills:
High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must have bar manager/beverage director/on premise consultant experience and/or 7 + years of work experience in the hospitality industry
Have had Brand Ambassador experience and/or experience as a brand consultant
Expertise & passion in the wine and spirits industry
Comprehensive understanding of the on premise universe and abililty to leverage partnership and custom programming in order to drive commercial performance
Ability to manage multiple projects and manage assigned budgets
Influential and excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also delivering impactful presentations in front of groups of people including executive’s, distributor partners, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization
WAYS TO STAND OUT IN THE CROWD
• Passionate, self-motivated, creative, responsible
• Proactive communicator
• Comfortable speaking to small groups and being seen as an expert
• Great with people; from bartenders to distributors to consumers
• Event management or promotional background is a plus
• Previous experience in sales preferred
• Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador preferred
• Has sound financial skills and experience managing a budget
• Bartending, Sommelier, Mixology experience a plus
• Must be over 21 years of age
• Must reside in designated area.
