Job purpose:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be a Role Model to new Team Members

• Provide excellent Customer Service

• Adhere to Team Member Handbook Policies and Procedures

• Maintain and foster Company Culture

• Prep and make sandwiches for daily sampling and events when needed

• Maintain store cleanliness

• Maintain Food Safety

• Maintain Workplace Safety

• Maintain Store and Equipment Safety

• Work closely with the General manager and Marketing Manager

• Plan and execute a strategy for sampling Jimmy John’s sandwiches within the surrounding community

• Execute Local Store Marketing campaigns

• Lead generation

• Cold calling and follow up

Qualifications

• Must have own vehicle, driver's license, and auto insurance

• Must have state-required Food Handlers Card for CA and AZ only

• Preferred marketing and/or sales experience

• Must have a flexible schedule

• Must be 18+

• Must be coachable

• Must have experience in dealing with customer

• Must be energetic, enthusiastic, confident, and outgoing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Working conditions

• Must be able to work in a moderately loud and fast-moving environment. Jimmy John’s stores play music at a moderate level all day. Must be able to avoid distraction and apply safety best practices while using slicer, knives, and oven.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and walk. Must be able to carry sandwiches when delivering to offices and/or events.
