SCE Credit Union is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Branch Manager at our Ontario, CA location. As a Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of the branch, leading a team to support and achieve credit union strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Oversight
Provide visionary leadership aligned with credit union goals and objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency, exceptional member service, and growth.
Collaborate with Director of Branches and other leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
Mentor and motivate branch staff, setting clear performance expectations and fostering professional development.
Culture and Member Service
Cultivate a positive and collaborative culture emphasizing teamwork and member-centricity.
Deliver outstanding member service and coach the team to do the same.
Actively seek and act upon member feedback to enhance service offerings.
Digital Transformation
Ensure proficiency in online and digital banking channels among the team.
Champion the use of technology to enhance member experience and efficiency.
Member Engagement and Growth
Establish personalized relationships with members and drive new member onboarding strategies.
Facilitate cross-selling and upselling of credit union products and services.
Community and Business Development Support
Support business and community development activities to deepen relationships and promote financial literacy.
Encourage team participation in volunteer activities to promote goodwill and the Credit Union.
Operational Excellence and Support
Assume overall responsibility for branch operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Perform account maintenance and educate members on digital servicing options.
Provide branch coverage and support as needed, including travel to other locations or events.
Reporting and Communication
Generate reports on branch performance and communicate updates effectively to the team and stakeholders.
Monitor and complete the annual budget.

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution, with 2 years in a managerial role preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in digital banking channels and technology adoption.
Knowledge of credit union operations, policies, and regulations.
