POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to collaborate with branch personnel and customers to ensure accurate and timely scheduling, documentation, and billing of products and services.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the motivation to build strong relationships with IBP personnel and customers to provide a reliable and organized source for quality products and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handle all forms of inquiries from customers, determine needs or issues, offer solutions or transfer ownership to the appropriate IBP sale/service representative
- Reinforce ongoing IBP business relationships. Assist in building and sustaining new business relationships
- Provide customer support for sales and service; answer questions regarding products; handle communications from internal and external personnel and customers to resolve inventory and shipment questions; handle follow-up communications with customers to insure sales/service needs are met for final resolution; assess customer needs and promote IBP products and services to existing and new customers in a professional manner.
- Create and process quotes and hold orders for customers and sales reps, prepare paperwork for shipments; input various transactions.
- Follow all sales transactions through with continual follow up and review of changes, managing the sale transaction to successful closure.
- Process Return Material Authorizations as necessary.
- Work with the Used and Rental Fleet Manager on used equipment sales and inventory inquiries.
- Utilize MRP to quote availability for new product.
- Utilize queries to quote availability of used equipment, rentals, and handling equipment.
- Scan documentation for electronic filing system.
- Troubleshooting to assess customer needs.
- Interact with departments and customers to ensure timely resolutions.
- Access computer data for account information.
- Update IBP databases with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Other office management tasks as assigned by branch management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school degree, or equivalent
- Associates degree in Business or Administration preferred
- Consent for and ability to pass background check prior to hire including criminal, credit, and motor vehicle reports (state dependent)
- Consent for and ability to pass drug screening prior to hire
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work within typical professional office conditions.
- While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk and hear, both in person and by phone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel, and operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
