We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized person to join our team. As a member of our team your primary responsibility will be to maintain our metal inventory. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various tasks.
Duties:
- Enter daily In/Out quantities of metals.
- maintain the written inventory and assist in the physical inventory quarterly
- Assist with financial report writing, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable transactions, verifying invoices and ensuring timely payments -
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments
- Utilize typing skills to accurately input financial data into the system
- Assist with technical accounting tasks as needed, such as researching accounting standards or preparing financial statements
- Maintain organized and up-to-date files for financial records and documentation
- Provide support
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain OSHA documentation
Skills:
-Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and analysis
- Excellent typing skills for accurate data entry
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts and procedures
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
