We’re currently seeking General Laborers – Car Runner to join our team.

As a Railroad Laborer - Car Runner, your responsibility is the unloading vehicles (driving) from railcars. All you need is a good work ethic and a driver's license.

Railroad Laborer – Car Runner

• Frequently climbs up/down railcars to access vehicles
• Drives vehicles off railcars to parking areas within the yard
• Removes and applies tie-down devices from vehicles
• Opens and closes railcar doors
• Inspects vehicles for damage

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift 40lbs. over head while standing
• Physically & mentally able to climb ladders, 20 feet
• Manual transmission experience preferred, not required
• Open availability is required
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to complete a criminal background, drug screen and physical

• This role will require you bending, climbing, and being able to lift up to 50lbs. Are you able and willing to do this?
• If offered this position, you must take and pass background – including no felony convictions in last 7 years, completion of court ordered restitution at least 7 years – parole. probation, jail time, fines and fees (not including traffic), no convictions of theft (felony or misdemeanor). Are you willing and able to pass this background check?
• This role is working at the Railroad and as such is open 24 hours a day. 7 days a week, including holidays. You will be working 8 -hour shifts 5 days a week - with lots of overtime. Your work schedule will include weekends and holidays. Are you willing and able to work this schedule?
• If offered this position, you will have to take and pass a 10 panel drug screen. Are you willing to take and able to pass this drug screening?
