Bookkeeper

```Job Summary```

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

```Responsibilities```

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

- Prepare and process journal entries for various accounts

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable and accounts payable

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting regulations

- Provide support during tax audits and assist with tax preparation

- Perform other related duties as assigned

```Qualifications```

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles

- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
