Our company Ascendus Legal Accounting is a booking-keeping company created with Lawyers in mind. We are looking for an Account Manager who will specialize in bookkeeping and financial advising for lawyers.
The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current clients to steer their
law firm toward financial success, This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to manage the day-to-day accounting, and then to better understand and mitigate any issues our clients may face.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the client's daily, monthly, and annual bookkeeping and Financial needs.
- Ensure that the client's books are closed out by the date indicated of the following month as per the client's contract.
- Provide Financial reports with commentary analysis.
- Prepare and issue 1099's and year-end reports for CPAs.
- Respond to clients within 1-3 days as required by the client's contract.
- Be the primary point of contact for your clients, creating and maintaining relationships to better understand and achieve their law firm's financial goals.
- Manage and support your team by answering questions and giving direction to better support the client.
- Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success using the project management software.
- Attend meetings as necessary to give updates and feedback.
- Previous account management experience as a bookkeeper or accountant.
- Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role.
- Xero certified preferred.
- Previous experience working with attorneys is a plus.
- Be willing to learn, grow and teach others.
- 100% Remote work but must live in the State of Idaho.
- Flexible schedule - 30 - 40 hours a week depending on your individual skill level and efficiency.
- 401 (k) plan after 6 months with matching.
- Salary: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month.
- We pay monthly and there are opportunities for growth and increased salary.
