Boiler Technician Apprentice
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Boiler Technician Apprentice. This role will involve assisting our experienced Boiler Technicians in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining burner management systems, safety controls, and combustion systems on a variety of commercial and industrial boilers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Technicians: Support experienced technicians in diagnosing and resolving issues with boiler systems.
- Learn and Apply Skills: Gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing burner management systems, safety controls, and combustion systems.
- Safety Watch: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures when working on boiler systems and related equipment.
- Technical Learning: Continuously learn about new technologies and industry advancements related to boiler systems and controls through a combination of classroom-based, computer-based, and on the job training.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a related field or relevant training is beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of boiler systems, HVAC controls, industrial electrical systems, or combustion technologies is preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze issues and assist in troubleshooting complex systems.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
- Physical Ability: Capable of performing tasks requiring physical exertion, working in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment when necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions meticulously and maintain accurate records.
