THIS POSITION performs a wide variety of complex administrative duties to support the three members of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) including duties designated in Idaho Code. In addition to the Board, this position interfaces with Elected Officials, department heads, community leaders, staff attorneys and the general public.
- $19.44 to $23.10 per hour (depending on experience)
- Public Employees Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI), a pension plan with five year vesting, 11.18% employer contribution, and a lifetime payout upon retirement

THIS IS THE POSITION FOR YOU IF:
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills including retaining and providing a vast array of information as needed including multi-line phone system, social media and website content, public meeting duties, reports and correspondence
- You are organized, efficient and resourceful
- You can perform detailed accurate work in a high-volume multi-tasking environment
- You have excellent knowledge of administrative policies and procedures
- You are able to represent the Board of County Commissioners and the County well in any environment
- You exercise good independent judgment and maintain confidentiality
- You can attend occasional evening meetings if needed
- Do you have an Associate's Degree or Applied Associates Degree or Certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program in administrative secretarial skills or a closely related field?
- Do you have a minimum of 24 months related experience and training?
- NOTE: Equivalent combination of education and experience or demonstration of ability may be considered.
- Can you pass a background and credit history check?
- Do you possess or have the ability to possess a driver's license and are you insurable?
