Job Description

About California Autism Center

The California Autism Center and Learning Group (CAC) was founded in 2014 with the intent to bring client-focused center-based ABA services to the Central Valley. Data supports a center-based model as the most effective method for treating children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Similar to in-home services, the center-based model still allows for individual treatment plans in addition to supplemental home and community-based services as needed. This model also provides more learning opportunities for clients and increased support for staff.
We are local company located in the heart of the Central Valley. We have Treatment Centers in Fresno, Merced and Visalia. Our focus is a team approach with positivity and perseverance.

What makes CAC great?

  • Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) accredited and distinction among ABA therapy providers.
  • A center-based autism center provider means no driving to clients' homes or losing hours due to cancellations.
  • Regular mentorship and opportunities for professional development.
  • A supportive environment focused on a work/life balance
We are looking for a Behavior Analyst to join our Fresno team, and work with our clients to help them identify and correct problematic behaviors in their lives. We focus on natural interventions, monthly in-house continued education units (CEUs), and a competitive CEU budget for conferences, workshops, or webinars. We specialize in early intervention services for children 18 months to six years.
Why live in Fresno County?
Fresno County is the heart of California, home to a diverse community, all of whom have great pride in our area. Fresno has something for everyone, from outdoor adventures to farm-to-fork dining. Discover local farmers' markets and see three national parks - Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia - all within 90 minutes from Fresno. Fresno has affordable, family-friendly activities and unique shopping and entertainment.
Who are Case Managers (BCBA)?
A Case Manager, aka Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), will work under the Treatment Center Director and be responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans. The BCBA will also supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Along with:
  • Conducting initial assessment with the client to determine a treatment plan.
  • Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to obtain better insight into the client's concerns.
  • Conducting naturalistic observations of clients within individual and group settings.
  • Creating simulated conditions where you will observe the behavior of each client.
  • Formulating an appropriate treatment plan sensitive to clients' cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.
  • Administering treatment and tailoring intervention plans as needed.
  • Suggesting additional treatment by other professionals, as required.
  • Operating within time, financial, and other resource constraints insofar as possible.
  • Review and sign off on behavior plans, offer training to direct support staff, and provide field supervision when necessary.
  • Remaining abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is a full-time salary, exempt position with benefits.
What makes California Autism Center great?
  • Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) accreditation and distinction among ABA therapy providers. The only company in the Central Valley that has demonstrated commitment to quality ABA services.
  • We are a center-based autism provider (no traveling to clients' homes).
  • Regular mentorship from experienced director-level BCBAs for newly certified BCBAs or collaboration with experienced BCBAs looking for like-minded individuals.
  • Competitive base pay based on experience with merit increases on performance (evaluations conducted quarterly).
  • Growing company with opportunity for advancement and professional growth beyond a BCBA with possible advancement to Director positions.
  • A supportive environment focused on career development and a positive culture focused on work/life integration that ensures manageable caseloads to prevent burnout (no night or weekend expectations, observing typical business hours).
  • A dedicated Administrative team to support the intake process, scheduling, authorization, and billing, with credentialing and recruitment of behavior technicians.
  • A dedicated training team to support the training and development of Registered Behavior Technicians.
