Salary Description
$16 to $19 per hour.
- Examine Blister Line machinery at the beginning of each shift to ensure good working order.
- Perform preventive and general maintenance on machines and components on a regular basis.
- Ensure timely attendance.
- Take packaging orders from the supervisor and ensure that they are followed accurately during the entirety of the packaging procedures.
- Regulate components and dials to control the speed and type of packaging.
- Observe machinery to ensure conformance to quality and set standards.
- Observe packaging equipment to make sure that each drug is being packed in the correct packing along with associated literature.
- Check packaged drugs to make sure that they are boxed, labeled, and categorized properly.
- Educate workers on exercising caution to avoid accidents and prevent injuries.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area by ensuring that floors are clean and organized appropriately
- Maintain logbooks.
- Planning and staging of production line ahead of time to reduce production run time.
- Train operators to ensure a balanced and versatile team.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet company deadlines
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification: High School Diploma or JDE certification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Industrial Experience operating a Blister Machine.
