Hamilton Storage is looking for a BiOS Site Lead to join our growing team. Please review the following list of responsibilities and qualifications to determine if this is the role for you.

  • Be the Site Lead during Phases I and II of the installation process.
  • Drive onsite installation activities to meet planned milestones and timelines.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert onsite and lead team members and contracted support in the absence of the Deployment Team Lead.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (rigging companies, local trade’s personnel) prior to and during the installation process.
  • Act as the direct interface to the customer during Phases I and II of the install process.
  • Perform a wide variety of mechanical, electromechanical and electrical assemblies from engineering drawings, schematics, verbal and written procedures.
  • Assist team members with the integration of standard and customized products to meet Customers’ requirements.
  • Work with the company logistics team to receive all shipments at customer site.
  • Work with Project Leaders to ensure successful and on time installations.
  • Work with customer and general contractors to gain badge access to the installation location.
  • Provide daily installation updates to customer and Project Leader.
  • Verify all required material necessary for the project has arrived onsite.
  • Purchase any additional material required for the installation (to be reimbursed).
  • Domestic and international travel is required. Installation travel is typically three to four times per year consisting of three to six weeks on site depending on the size of the project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to manage and meet schedule commitments, and possess good troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong documentation and record keeping skills.
  • Adept at reading schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Able to work well with engineers, management, and customers.
  • High level of self-motivation in assisting customers, sales, and service people in a timely manner.
  • Ability to stay positive and not be discouraged by scrutiny and suggestions.
  • Comfortable working in cold environments (-20c environment -80c components).
  • Comfortable in confined spaces and still able to be aware of the environment.
  • Comfortable working around live and wired systems.
  • Understanding the system as a whole (mechanically, electronically, sensors, motors, power distribution, software, configurations, backups, etc.)
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to make decisions and act for customers and Project Leaders.
  • Capable of working under pressure without compromise.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
  • Position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading an on-site installation team, preferably in the Medical, Semi-conductor or Life Sciences industry required.
  • Experience with capital/process equipment, automation and motion control systems required.
  • Experience in installing large scale capital equipment required.
  • Experience working with customers and/or Project Management in the life science/clinical/pharmaceutical field preferred.
  • A degree in a relevant area preferred.

  • Anticipated salary range is $70,000- $80,000/year.
