You will work with an R&D team focused on developing a new generation of sensing technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing data from biomedical measurement systems and background in signal processing, data analysis, and design of experiments.
Key Qualifications
Hands-on experience developing and analyzing data from biomedical measurement systems.
Experience with biomedical sensing instrumentation and data analysis
Experience with design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
Background in signal and/or image processing and statistical methods (e.g. multivariate techniques such as PCA).
Strong programming ability in Matlab and/or Python.
NICE-TO-HAVES (ANY OF THE FOLLOWING):
Experience interpreting modeling of physiological measurements
Experience with optics and/or spectroscopy
Experience with software development for research applications (e.g. embedded software, databases)

Description
- Characterize interaction between instrumentation and biological systems.
- Analyze how physical sources of variation impact measurement complexity and system performance.
- Design, develop, and test feature extraction methods that work on complex biomedical datasets.
- Perform statistical analyses on experimental and simulated datasets to inform biomedical device development and algorithm design.
- Draw upon existing experience to design and run targeted internal studies that effectively manage real-world sources of error.
- Bring up new sensing methods via hardware bringup, software development, and developing custom preprocessing schemes.
Education & Experience
BS and 3+ years of relevant experience. MS or PhD preferred.
