• The Billing Specialist is under the direct supervision and direction of the Office Manager.
• The Billing Specialist is responsible for assisting and handling activities pertinent to verification, authorization/reauthorization, prebill audit and payment receipt process.
• Manage ongoing reauthorization needs through reporting and workflow functions.
• The Billing Specialist adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

Two Years of Medical Billing Experience Preferred

Proficient with Reading and Analyzing data

Highly Organized and Attention to detail

Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

Basic Understanding of CPT, ICD 10 and HCPCS coding familiarity with Windows environment and Billing Software

A major is familiarity with Athena Billing Framework

We would like the employee to provide feedback and be comfortable making ongoing suggestions with Billing Practices

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
