Billing Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Billing Specialistwill contribute to the growth and profitability of Life Safety by ensuring client invoices are processed timely and accurately.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Processes invoices per client specifications, including those mailed, emailed or submitted via third-party software

2. Supports the development and maintenance of invoicing SOP for multilocation clients

3. Performs weekly audits in field service management software for clients and affiliates

4. Assists CSR and QA teams with collecting paperwork, uploading documents, handling invoice disputes, submitting quotations, etc.

5. Supports office by processing incoming and outgoing mail, ordering office supplies and shipping materials as required

6. Assists accounts payable with questions on invoices

7. Completes necessary contract documentation to be submitted with invoices, such as lien waivers

8. Provides prompt resolution to clients and affiliates concerning invoices

9. Effectively communicates and maintains working relationships with clients, affiliates, and team members

10. Ensures and provides quality service to both internal and external clients.

11. Adheres to all corporate policies, guidelines and statutory requirements and recommends to senior management adoption and/or changes to policies and guidelines to reflect circumstances within the quality assurance area.

12. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
